Workshop on Enhancing the Team Work Skills

A one-day workshop on Enhancing the team work skill for the non-academic staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science was held on 31st August 2017 under the theme of ‘Ma Nomathi Api’ (‘We without me’) at the auditorium of the Administrative Building of the faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science. The workshop was organized by the Quality Assurance Cell of the faculty and Dr. Chalinda Beneragama, Director, Agriculture Education Unit of Faculty of Agriculture served as the resource person.
The morning session of the workshop was devoted in learning the concepts and importance of the communication and team work, while identifying the strengths and weaknesses of individuals targeting the progress of the faculty. In the afternoon sessions, participants performed few group activities by applying the theoretical knowledge gained during the morning session. All the participants enjoyed the workshop.
